The process begins with a discussion around the piece you envisage and your budget with Caz MacClancy. Such discussions are always handled with complete discretion and sensitivity. Clients often like to work with an existing CAZYAN design by customising the setting with their desired choice of gems and metals. They can also alter the piece to reflect their personal taste or opt for a completely new design around specific gems of their own selection. Clients can feel confident in the knowledge that Caz works closely with her experienced team of makers overseeing the design process, to cater to your exact needs.
The creative process begins with Caz translating the client’s ideas into a unique design. She may offer a choice of two or three variations. These designs are shared and any refinements are discussed. If the design meets with your approval, a quote is given and, if the client wishes to proceed, a 50% deposit is required prior to the jewel’s manufacture. A bespoke piece will take between four weeks and four months between agreed design and delivery depending on its complexity.
